I am thankful for the long weekend coming up. We need the rest. Every night seems to have something scheduled. Jay is busy with cub scouts, basketball, and baseball. Morgan has ballet, tap and girl scouts. Mary has everyone's attention and Chris and I are right behind. Between work, fire department and cub scouts, Chris has bus duty in the morning. I am busy with work, church and bus duty in the afternoon, there is little time to minimize the pile of laundry on the floor.
Jay still knows it all. I really think he is going on 13 and not 8. Jay is very helpful, especially if he is by himself. Jay is doing well in school. He is reading pretty good and he is very good at 2nd grade math. Morgan is so thoughtful for her age. She is always thinking about others before herself. The other day, she went to a check-up appointment and was given the choice of two stickers. She picked one out for her and one for her big brother because he wasn't there. She is adjusting well to kindergarten and to school. Mary - well she is definitely the baby girl. She rules the roost! She is a girly girl like her big sister. She loves make-up and she is very bossy. But that face.... She knows how to get what she wants. She is sooo sweet.
