Well it has been a very busy few weeks at the hokietribe household. Jay is finally finished with basketball. That was really fun to watch. The scores were usually like a football game 6-3. Jay's team usually did not score more than two or three baskets. Nonetheless it was very entertaining.
Morgan has been busy with dance and girl scouts. It is cookie time - so there goes any thoughts of a diet for me (I would like to stay in the clothes I own). Dance and cub scouts keeps us busy on Tuesdays. We had been going to church on Wednesdays and Thursdays are girl scout days.
Chris and I have both been very busy at work. Sometimes I have had to bring work home to just stay afloat. Chris seems to always be stuck on the computer or on his phone regardless of the time of day. We are thankful to have jobs these days.
I keep hoping for spring. Jay has been practicing with his baseball team this winter. They are gearing up for a few tournaments in March and April.
Mary has been a typical two year old, except for the fact that she is able to recite the alphabet and numbers through 10. I don't remember Jay or Morgan doing that this early. I am sure she is just trying to keep up with her older siblings. She is two going on 7.
I am over the two year old stage in my life. I know that there are some that say hold on to these days, but lately they seem to be holding me literally by my legs. Yesterday Morgan and Mary were literally holding my legs whining for something. I keep telling them I like my wine after they go to bed, not before. They just don't seem to listen. Gotta run - dinner isn't going to cook itself and no one else seems to be moving in that direction.
Have a great week!
