As I sit here, the kids including our other child, Jay's best friend-Ian, are playing nicely. That will only last so long. Every time I get on the computer or the phone, they usually fall apart and I have to pick up the pieces some how.
I have been pretty lost the past couple of days. Outside of work, I have had nothing on the calendar. I told Chris I didn't know what to do. I had a hard time sitting still. Of course, their was vacuuming, laundry and a dirty kitchen, but... nothing was urgent. I may have to unpack the box of books I haven't read. I haven't bothered to unpack it because I knew I would not get a chance to finish even one chapter.
I have neglected my blog since February. I guess an appropriate New Year's resolution would be to keep it updated. We will see how that goes.
Today has been a beautiful day. It began with a peaceful snow fall last night. It changed to rain and sleet overnight. Thankfully the electricity stayed on. This morning the kids went with the big kid-Chris to the power line to play on the 4wheeler. It was raining, so I decided to stay home. No pictures. I know - bad mommy. Not the first time I've heard that. I did manage to get a few presents wrapped under the kids' noses. Mary played Santa's helper. Even though I showed her some of the presents, she doesn't seem to remember them.
We now have a fort in the middle of the room. I will have a few blankets to fold before bedtime. I am hoping I don't have to fold them tonite because they will be using them to sleep. Good night.
